I know it is a Christian song, sung by a female, accompanied by piano. I actually have a good deal of lyrics for it, and can hear it in my head. I could probably sing it in-key, but I am NO soprano.
Trust in me For I am the father Believe in me For I am (YOUR GOD or THE LORD) All that you are now Comes from the father Trust in me my child (no idea about this line) Trust in me All that I've given Believe in me (no idea) All that you are now (no idea...refrain is slightly different) Your faith must be deeper Than the deepest ocean Your words and your deeds (no idea) (a line here...) (another line...) Your eyes must be open...To see me each night Trust in me (no idea) Believe in me (no idea) All that you are now Comes from the father (forgot the ending) ***I know the song begins and ends with piano leading into the lyrics...And I only remember piano accompanying the song. It is driving me CRAZY. I don't even listen to Christian music, but this has been in my head for twenty years. I had it on audio cassette and played it in my car...But I am at a loss to remember any more of it and I didn't want to guess wrong and throw someone off. SOMEONE besides me HAS to have heard this song at some point. If you can help, PLEASE do.
